Commercial to Residential Conversion
This project is a prime example of what RNT does best – identifying an underutilised commercial building and unlocking its potential to create something genuinely desirable.
Located in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, the ground floor of this striking Victorian red-brick building had sat underused as a workshop, office and garages. We secured prior approval planning consent and set about converting the entire ground floor into two luxury two-bedroom apartments.
The works included a full strip-out of the existing premises, external structural alterations including new door and window openings, a basement rebuild, new utility connections, and complete delivery of the internal space from bare shell to finished apartments.
The result is two high-specification homes with a distinctive interior design – a bold teal palette, considered styling, and a quality of finish that sets them apart from standard residential conversions.
This project was acquired and delivered alongside the French Street HMO conversion, which forms the upper floors of the same building.
